Sons of Anarchy star Ron Perlman has reportedly filed for divorce from jewelry and fashion designer, Opal Stone Perlman.
According to the documents, the actor filed papers for a dissolution of his marriage at the Stanley Most Courthouse in Los Angeles, California, on Tuesday. According to multiple retailers, Perlman cites irreconcilable differences and states a separation date of May 10, 2019.
If they married on Valentine’s Day in 1981 and would have celebrated their fortieth birthday in but two years. They are folks to a female offspring, Blake, and a son, Brandon.
Perlman, 69, is well-known for his role as Clay on FX’s Sons of lawlessness and therefore the 2004 film Hellboy.
Since the series led to 2013, he had worked on shows including, the Hand of God, movies like Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and has several new films in the works.
Meanwhile, Ron recently revealed his one big ambition in acting is to land a role in a James Bond movie, no matter how insignificant the part would be.
Admitting he doesn’t mind if he just makes a cameo appearance, he added: “Who wouldn’t want to say, ‘I was in a Bond movie?’ I don’t care how big the role is.” And though he has given his support to the upcoming ‘Hellboy’ reboot, he’s still upset he didn’t get to play the character for the third time.
“I spent a long, long time really poking and prodding the bear to get the third one made and I felt sure I felt like we had owed the fans closure and I just couldn’t – there were too many people who were moving in too many other directions, that I just couldn’t pull it off.
If you ask me about it, it’s kind of still an open wound. “I wish everybody [on the reboot] well, but I prefer to leave it be.”
