Mother-of-triplet Chelsea Clinton has won Jay-Z’s lackluster reaction to wife Beyoncé proudly flaunting off her post-baby body in her Netflix doc, with the initial daughter hitting out at the rapper for his want of ‘enthusiasm’ and praise.
The 39-year-old critic of the rapper arrived in an interview with The Cut, where she about her destiny following the 2016 election and what she has been aiming at in terms of her career.
In the interview, Beyoncé’s Homecoming doc was mentioned, specifically the scene where the singer was excessively joyed to fit into her old apparel again after giving birth to her duo: Rumi and Sir.
The scene depicted Beyoncé proudly flaunting off her hard-earned body to Jay-Z over FaceTime, which he simply smiled and told, ‘All right.’ That recession, in Clinton’s opinion, was not acceptable.
‘And I told, “Marc if that is ever me, you better possess more enthusiasm,”‘ Clinton told mentioning her husband of nine long years. ‘It was not the “I am extremely proud of you. That is very nice” that I arguably wonder any woman deserves, especially someone who has actually worked herself body, mind, heart, soul, and spirit to arrive at that place.’
She also said: ‘Marc was like, “Duly notified.” And I said, “I bet every woman seeing this has this sense of She needs more enthusiasm. Marc said, “I got it. Can we go back to see it, please? We have talked about it thrice in the previous 90 seconds.”‘
Chelsea could relate with Beyoncé at that moment as she was expecting with her lad Jasper, now-three months old when setting the documentary.
There can be heavy pressure for women to come back with their bodies quickly, and Chelsea wondered partners should be supportive at that time.
Chelsea herself recognizes what it is like to welcome triple children – although arguably not duos. The former initial daughter gave birth to her third infant, and second lad, Jasper in July.
